Since 1981, Randy Harshman has been building racing engines and fixing cars in Smithsburg. He came to work for Lew’s Automotive in 1981, worked hard and bought the business in 1992.
A graduate of Clearspring High School, Randy is master ASE certified in auto repair and ASE master machinist and a member of the Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association.
He also belongs to the the National Federation of Independent Business and attends the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren.
When Randy’s not racing or working on customer projects, he and his wife Jeanine, and two boys, Tyler and Jeremy, can be found playing with ATV’s or fixing up things that should probably be junked, like his latest project, a 1952 Oliver Crawler.
And Randy supports the National Write Your Congressman Program.
